TBI Communications, a leading strategic consultancy and marketing communications agency specialising in the research communications sector, is delighted to announce Sally Wynn-Jones has joined their expanding team as a Senior Consultant.
Sally brings over 16 years of experience in the scholarly publishing industry, notably around open access. Her specialist skills cover both B2B and B2C open access marketing including marketing strategies, demand generation implementation, customer life cycle management, journal launches, branding, and communications.
Sally started her career at BioMed Central where she led a team of journal marketers under the then relatively new business model of open access. Since then, she has overseen the development and implementation of open access marketing strategies for Nature Publishing Group, Springer Nature and Wiley. During her time at Springer Nature Sally led marketing initiatives for the Nature Research open access journals, including titles such as Scientific Reports and Nature Communications.
